My windshield shot today – edited with Instagram. The purple/pink haze opened my soul. I had a rough morning. I’m still under the weather and haven’t been sleeping well. Luckily, I was able to work from home the past two days but went into the office today. I was dreading it. I really just want to sleep. No, really, I just want to breath normally again. I haven’t been able to do yoga because even child’s pose and downward facing dog are hard for me. Plus, I can’t breath out of my nose, at all. Hopefully this will be the end of it. Thank you snow, sun, and clouds for cheering me up.

Welcome to my world! My name is Amy and I'm originally from DC, moved to The Mitten State when I was 10, and moved west after graduating college. Embracing the unknown, I moved from Idaho to California and back again, twice, before deciding where our Forever home needed to be. We're still searching but I know Idaho is the place for me. Currently living in Ketchum, Idaho - the furthest city away from a city. Nestled into National Forest, BLM, and Wilderness land - the Wood River Valley offers year-round recreation, adventure, culture, and conservation. I currently work for a local food distributor - Idaho's Bounty - slangin' Idaho grown produce and proteins to local restaurants, grocery stores, and people in our wonderful community. I'm a dog mom of two, a wife of one amazing man. I have enjoyed a liberal arts education, taking classes in philosophy, political science, culinary tourism, and other cultures, on top of my degree requirements. I have a good mind for research and theory. I'd say that I'm a critical theorist - constantly adapting and changing - and also a competent communicator. My passions are helping people, healthy living, alternative health, and community involvement! I've been fortunate to be raised by two amazing parents who support everything I do, and all that I am. I'm blessed, nonetheless! I volunteer, educate, engage, and remain a proactive member of the community. I'm passionate about eating healthy and living a life that allows you to be a happy person - we all have the ability to do so, we just make the choice of whether it is worth it or not, and I choose to be happy. I want to change the world. But I also know that you can change the world by making ONE single person happy, in any little way, any day. So I strive to make at least one person smile in a day - and if I do - my dream lives on! ENJOY! Because I know I do :) View all posts by Amy!
